My favorite aspect of photography is the ability to capture a scene that reflects a memory, and to bring people back to the emotions they felt when they were in the moment. I believe that posed and candid photos both have important roles to play and that natural lighting can bring out the very best in a photo. My style is fun and classic and I never shy away from pops of color! I specialize in bringing a friendly and personal approach to each and every job.
I am honored to have been voted Best of Weddings 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 for The Knot. I’ve also been excited to share the weddings I’ve photographed in over 60 wedding blogs. I am enamored with weddings because they are one of the happiest days in a person’s life. I love everything from seeing families coming together to the small details that go into a making each wedding unique. But nothing beats being able to capture portraits of the bride and groom sharing their first blissful moments as a married couple.
Growing up with a multicultural background myself, I have been exposed to many different customs and traditions within my own family. This helps me with my photography because I have learned that I must seek to understand the values of the bride and groom and their families, so that I can memorialize the moments that are important and culturally significant to them. Thank you for even considering Elizabeth Burgi Photography for your wedding day coverage and taking the time to get to know me better.
A few of my favorite things…
Fun facts about me!
My idea of a perfect relaxing day is chilling by a pool in Palm Springs with a mojito in hand and a plate of nachos by my side!
I love anything vintage, throwing confetti, and handbags…all the handbags. I have a problem.
When I’m not taking photos I enjoy hanging out with my best friend, glass of wine in hand, watching Hallmark movies or any British mini series and slinging running commentary like it’s my second job.
The things I'm most passionate about are my amazing husband Tim and my two adorable rescue pups, Brock and Miles, which I dress up and embarrass on the regular.
