Bel Air Bay Club Wedding

Bel Air Bay Club Wedding
I’ve known the groom for many years. He’s insanely talented, smart and kind. What’s even more awesome is he’s met his match. These two are the life of the party. This wedding was a blast and I’m so thankful that they asked us to capture their big day. I’m pretty much obsessed with this video by TSI Video Productions! Check it out below!
From the Bride:

Brent and I met through mutual friends. I had attended a show that Brent had put together for his band. When we were introduced, he barely even looked at me and essentially blew me off. To be fair, he was very busy with the event and didn’t really have the time to talk to anyone. After a few run-ins and polite ‘hellos’ at some mutual friends birthdays and parties, we got to talking and realized we lived 2 apartment buildings down from each other. We finally made plans to hang out and the rest is history.

Everyone that knows us, knows that we love a good party! We both had a blast dancing our hearts out with all of our friends to Quel Bordel’s killer set.

Before I even looked at the first dress, I knew that I wanted something with some edge and lots of sparkle. The one that I chose was the first one I saw at the second dress shop (Panache Bridal – Beverly Hills). I saw the glitter and the sheer elegance of the dress and knew that even though the dress felt a bit intimidating, I needed to try it on. It was the first one I tried on and knew it was the one. What made it even more special was that Sareh was at the store for her trunk show. So, she was able to show me how the dress would fit and took my measurements herself. Truly one of those fairy tale princess moments.

There’s always been something so appealing about the galaxy and the beautiful colors that it makes. So, when we were deciding on the wedding date, we chose a night that had a blue moon. Based on that, we pulled colors from nebulas; dark purples, bright pinks, blues and black. Then we incorporated both silver and gold as accents, with a few sparkles here and there.

This was one of the first venues that we visited. The view of the ocean from the lawn for the ceremony was the selling point, but there were so many other great factors too. The spanish inspired patio, hotel rooms at the venue, the multitude of ways that the reception could be laid out. Also, the staff was absolutely wonderful.

We like to think of ourselves as a classy rock ‘n’ roll couple. So, we wanted to make sure that the wedding really represented us and wasn’t stuffy or too traditional. The galaxy theme really helped tie in the edginess, while still keeping the overall feeling very elegant.
