Marriott Marina Del Rey Wedding
Lauren and Michael are truly a fun-loving couple. When I suggested that they head to Joshua Tree for their engagement session, they were totally on board. On their wedding day, their warmth and love for each other really shined through.
I knew their wedding was going to be gorgeous because they hired DeNeitra from SavvyEvents. They chose a stunning ombre purple theme. All of the bridesmaids wore different shades of purple and chose their own style of dress. Lauren’s Lazaro dress reminded me of a modern-day princess and she added her own personal touch by wearing a purple jeweled broach on the side. Michael and his groomsmen looked sharp in their navy blue suits.
The ceremony took place on top of the helicopter pad of the Marriott overlooking stunning views of Marina Del Rey. To carry on the theme of the day, each guest was given an ombre purple program. Lauren and Michael stood in front of a beautiful living garden with green moss and flowers. As they said their vows to each other, there wasn’t a dry eye in the group and, after they kissed and were pronounced husband and wife, they jumped the broom.
The escort cards were written in calligraphy and placed on a moss frame with a stunning flower adorning the top. The sign-in table had a beautiful painting with the names of the couple and their wedding date. Each dining table had gorgeous purple linens with watercolored menus and all the flowers were different shades of purple.
One of the most memorable events at the wedding was when one of the groomsmen put Michael on the spot and asked him to deejay part of the wedding. Everyone was out of their seats dancing as Michael played some tunes. Another highlight of the wedding was the presentation of the Cinevent Videography same-day edit. As guests ate their salads they got to watch the beautiful day unfold. It was really unbelievable.
This is a wedding I will never forget. The guests were so happy for Lauren and Michael and there was so much love for them. I’m truly blessed to be able to capture a wedding for a couple like them.
