ELIZABETH BURGI

PHOTOGRAPHY

Hi, I'm Elizabeth

My Approach

My approach is calm, natural, and never overly posed. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I won’t interrupt moments that are already unfolding on their own. I want you to actually experience your wedding day not feel like you’re in a photoshoot the whole time.
The best photos come from being fully present, and that’s always the goal.

FILM

My dad gave me my first 35mm film camera, and it became something we shared together. That’s where my love for photography really began.
Today, I still photograph weddings using both digital and film drawn to the timeless, nostalgic quality film brings and the way it preserves moments exactly as they felt.

I’ve always been drawn to the in-between moments. The quiet ones, the emotional ones, the ones you don’t realize are happening until they’re gone.

The way your mom looks at you before the ceremony. Your friends meeting for the first time.

The feeling of everything finally slowing down, even just for a second. That’s what matters most to me when I photograph a wedding.

I’m a wedding photographer, mom to two girls (Hazel and June), and married to my best friend Tim, who you’ll often find alongside me filming weddings.
Because of that, I don’t just see weddings as events. I see them as one of the few times in life when all of your favorite people are in the same place. And I don’t take that lightly.

I’ll help with timeline guidance, gently step in when direction is needed, and step back when it’s not. You won’t be over-posed or rushed through your day. Instead, you’ll be present with your people and I’ll be there to capture it all as it naturally unfolds. If you’re looking for someone who will not only document your wedding beautifully, but also help it feel calm, meaningful, and true to you. I’d love to be part of it.
