Wadley Farms Wedding Shoot
Wadley Farms Wedding Shoot
They say for your wedding day to get something borrowed and something blue, but purple is one of the most romantic colors I’ve seen for a wedding.
The fabulous Heather Benge and Styled Shoots Across America helped me create this whimsical fairy tale of a shoot using purple hues as our inspiration.
Shot at the dreamy Wadley Farms, this design made Madilyn and Ethan Hansen look like something out of a romance novel.
Lavender bows and butterflies adorned the tables with cascades of flowers spilling out of tall glass vases thanks to Mille Fleur Design. I loved the details of the invitations Rose and Cotton created. They also had banner scrolls that spilled out of the champagne glasses which was a nice touch.
This is a great example of taking one focus color and using different hues of it to create a look, as opposed to packing too many colors into your setting.
My favorite part had to be the gorgeous cake by Maile Cake Design, which mimicked the tower stairwell of the backdrop. It was feminine with its floral accents but also bold in its stature.
All in all I loved this shoot. If you want a soft fairy tale setting, purple is definitely the way to go!
