I am enamored with weddings because they are one of the happiest days in a person’s life. I love everything from seeing families coming together to the small details that go into making each wedding unique. But nothing beats being able to capture portraits of a newly married couple sharing their first blissful moments.
Romantic Desert Chapel Wedding
After you see this styled shoot you might be going straight to the chapel to get married Las Vegas-style.
There’s a new chapel near LV and it’s not what you might first imagine. Out in the Eldorado Canyon at the historical Techatticup Mine, you will find the most charming wedding chapel made of wood. Rustic, earthy vibes are evoked by the design of the chapel that has large windows to let in lots of natural light.
Cactus Collective Weddings and Scheme Events coordinated and Scheme Events styled the shoot beautifully with a natural fall vibe.
The florist team from Flourish skillfully used yellow, burgundy, and soft pink florals with lots of greenery to style a trendy archway that covered half the doorway of the chapel. Making use of the existing architecture is becoming popular with micro weddings and elopements since its logistically easier to set up a reception anywhere with fewer guests to consider.
Just because you are having a small wedding doesn’t mean you have to skimp on the gorgeous bridal details and luxury items. In fact, quite the opposite. Your budget for those special touches can be more flexible.
This cool new chapel is part of Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours and the venue is just 45 mins from Las Vegas. As wedding venues go this one is unique and truly beautiful.

The bride’s bouquet was a wild arrangement of beautiful colors held together with a long piece of rich green velvet. She wore a long-sleeved white gown with a plunging neckline that was elegant and stylish.
The groom went for a statement jacket that matched the whole vibe perfectly. If you think the models look like a great match together, they surely agree. They are married in real life!
There are many other ways to make sure your small wedding is adorned with details. For example, a beautiful charcuterie board was created by Ginger and Jade that was decadently delicious and looked just right with the specialty cocktails mixed by Craft Las Vegas. Look at the pink eatable flowers sprinkled on top of the foamy, cool cocktail. Sipping art from a crystal glass in the wild desert. I told you going straight to the chapel was a good idea!

Caked Las Vegas provided more sweetness with a single tied cake decorated with dainty pink icing flowers. Another wonderful example of how a micro wedding can still have all the luxuries you desire. Look at the cake photo – even though the cake is small but has its own table and window backdrop with greenery draped naturally. It’s a picture of bridal perfection.
