Hotel Maya Wedding

This vivacious couple chose a classy nautical theme and held their ceremony at the beautiful Hotel Maya in Long Beach. I love this hotel as a venue because it combines Latin American culture with Southern California charm. The skyline on the harbor is out of this world so you can’t go wrong with pictures here!

After a gorgeous traditional ceremony at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, the wedding party made their way to Hotel Maya for some oceanside fun! Katrina and Kyle stuck with the nautical theme using blue and white accents for everything (even putting an anchor on their wedding cards) but kept the vibe very classy at the same time.

Katrina looked stunning in a semi off the shoulder lace dress and Kyle donned a sharp navy blue tux to stick within the theme. The bridesmaids also wore navy which is something I rarely see and it really looked sharp and made Katrina stand out like a star the entire evening.

The attention to detail by wedding coordinator Chic and Stunning Events at the reception was second-to-none with navy and white striped table cloth runners, ornate sea shells, and little scrolls of paper for marriage advice that looked like they lead to buried treasure!

Everyone dined on seafood that was to-die-for and danced the Cupid Shuffle until the sun went down. The indoor-outdoor reception area made for a picturesque evening with couples gathered around the fire pit enjoying each other’s company and watching the gorgeous Long Beach Sunset. All-in-all it was a beautiful event from start to finish and a joy to photograph!
