Kestrel Park Wedding

Kestrel Park Wedding
I’ve been dreaming of shooting a wedding at the breathtaking Kestral Park so when I was got a chance do this styled shoot mentored by Alicia Mink I said yes, yes, and YES! Kestral Park is nestled in the Santa Ynez Valley, 30 minutes from Santa Barbara, and looks like something straight out of fairy tale. What I love about this venue is they only take a limited number of events per year so they can assure everything in done to perfection and not rushed.
The bride featured in this shoot wore a low cut strapped gown fit for a princess by Kinsley James Couture Bridal polished off by shoes from the one and only Manolo Blahnikhq. The groom donned a light grey tux from Friar Tux completing this Romeo and Juliet-esque ensemble.
Sometimes it’s best to keep the details simple when you have a grandiose venue as your backdrop so this shoot featured papyrus-like table names and scrolls adorning the tables courtesy of Isidore Augustine and decadent hand dyed silk accents from Tono & Co.
Flowers are always a vital piece so Florals by Maher Haroun created a cascading bouquet of blush and white roses which matched the silk ribbons at their base and the blush Manolo Blahnikhq’s as well. Borrowed Blu created a beautiful tabletop landscape that was also topped with this floral design making it oh-so-dreamy!
All in all this shoot was magical and whimsical to say the least. When you have a grand backdrop you don’t need to go overboard with accessories and this shoot embodies that effortlessly. I was so thrilled to be a part of this creation!
