        The Fig House Wedding

        The Fig House Wedding

Traditional Catholic weddings are some of the most beautiful ceremonies I get to photograph. The grandeur and sanctity of the church really sets a magical tone. Leslie and Herbie decided to say their vows in the Catholic church they grew up attending and where Leslie’s parents got married 33 years previous. They also met in the same first grade class in the Incarnation Catholic Church so it was kismet.

Fig House Wedding_3592.jpgLeslie looked gorgeous in her strapless laced dress and long flowing veil. She says it took her 20 tries to find the perfect one. I think most women can relate! Her favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing Herbie waiting at the end. Herbie’s favorite part was their private first dance.

Fig House Wedding_3598.jpgThe couple decided to go for a classic yet fun vibe for their nuptials. They wanted it to feel like a backyard LA wedding, despite being in the church. Leslie and Herbie both love blue so they went with blue and pink colors for their bridal party. They also knew it would match well with the decor of The Fig House, where they had their reception.

They both agree that finally hanging out with all their guests and taking pictures was a highlight. They danced the night away to the sounds of DJisLord and watched live art by Chasing Linen. Fig House Wedding_3629.jpg
